I sometimes feel really drowsy and dizzy and sometimes feel stimulated and anxious. (Ironically, it is a anxiylotic)  But I never get a clarity on my head. It has almost been 1 months. In the beginning, I thought side effects will be cleared by the time. But they rather are being more severe day by day. My mouth starts to dry from the time I take it, and I sometimes feel worse after I eat something. I am gonna take a blood test to be sure If I have a diabetes. But this herb is really weird. And I wonder if anyone has similar expriences.

I take 350 mg of gotu kola extracty daily, which includes 20% asiaticoside (70mg).

It could simply be that this particular herb is not suited to your bodies physiological constitution.

Alternatively, reduce the dose that you take.

It will also be influenced by other substance's you have been taking during this month such such as herbs etc

I have 100mg of gotu kola daily as well as a few other adaptogens (rhodiola, cistanches, gynostemma, cissus, schisandra - all cycled) which I have introduced with the awareness that it might not particularly be "suited" (in a western medicine and TCM sense) to me - I also make use of traditional Chinese medicinal knowledge to decide which adaptogen would be most suited to me.
