I need a little help with renalancing my life. At this point I feel like shit. After years od abusing ephedrine, caffeine and other stimulants along with several addictions I found myself in really tought condition. Libido is gone for good, not even the hardest porn is able to push it, I have literally zero motivation to do anything so everything I do comes at cost of anxiety, I am chronically tired and depresed but even if try to lay down and sleep through the day, anxiety keeps me awake. I developed obesity as a result of my addiction to junk food and office work.

I figured that all my neurotransmitters are way below normal level. I took quite a few medical tests to asses my overall health and it's not perfect but not as bad either. Thyroid is enlarged (inflammation maybe) bit its hormones are normal. Also there's fatty liver from obesity. Besides these two, anything seems to be ok.

Anyway, I put myself together and started to reshaping my life. Here's what I changed:

- diet - ~1800 kcal, high protein, zero simple carbohydrates, lots of veggies and boiled meat
- aerobic exercise - 30 min daily, not too intensive
- no porn, internet, stimulants, games, tv shows, no caffeine, no sugar & junk- no dopamine spikes generally speaking. I stick to this with no excuses
- meditation - as much as I can
- supps - almost everything I tried failed to help. Tyrosine, tryptophan, piracetam, rhodiola, choline occured to be waste of money. The only supps I found useful are Ashwagandha and theanine, however they don't work as usually reported. They induce calm but woesen my mood, changing it into deep sadness. However sadness doesnt't bother me that much so I stick to these two. It always good to beat anxiety.

I have two questions:

- is theanine a good choice? It works with Gaba but also induce some dopamine spikes which I felt. There is initial mood improvement and wave of sadness after it. I want to avoid such spikes. I feel it depoetes something.

- would inositol help? I know it upregulates d2 receptors but I am not sure how actually potent it is.

It seems, that the only naurotransmitter working now for me is GABA. Influencing other ones brings only short or no effects. Thanks for any suggestions.
