I had been taking high dosages of omega 3 for a while, let me list the symptoms I exprience:

Extreme anxiety&Hypochondria

Shortness of breath

Feeling overly sleepy

Attention problems

Concentration problems

Depression

Mental confusion&Brain fog (Thinking barely faster than a turtle)

Very high self consciousness

Dry mouth

Dizziness

Tingling and uncomfortness in muscles

Really weird and frequent deams [I wake up about 10-11 times in night probably due to anxiety, as I am told I don't snore, so it is unlikely to be sleep apnea. But I wake up very anxious with a feeling of craving for oxygen (maybe as an expected result of I am thinking so much about "what if I am having shortness of breath and it is damaging my brain during sleeping" Oh almost forgetting, I start to see dream whenever I put my head to bed.  ]

Tingling and burning sensation sometimes with headache in head (sinuses are always burning)

1)What can I do to fix it?

2) Let me if you think I have permenantly damaged my brain, I will buy a gun and end this torture.

And pls don't come up with "Maybe you always had a depression&anxiety.." bullshit. I am trying to deal with mid-moderate depression since last year, but I have NEVER EVER exprienced the rest of symptoms.

Age: 17, I have upcoming country-wide exams in next march and june, I have already wasted lots of time. I should have been studying instead of writing these lines. I will have my MRI results tomarrow but for the rest, doctors really don't understand about neuroscience, and they relate all problems to stress. I need your help guys. Thanks.

1. Stop taking Omega-3's.

2. Google "Longecity high choline" and you will find like 5 more threads exactly like this one. The answers are in there, I have even answered them myself.

3. Test yourself to figure out if it's truly high aCh - buy CDP-Choline and dose it moderately - if you have high aCh, then CDP-choline should worsen your symptoms, TEMPORARILY, fairly quickly.

4. After the test, and you find that it does indeed work, then you talk to your Dr. about these problems and request BUPROPION. (Voxra, Wellbutrin, et c) It's a multi-site Nicotinic antagonist, and a NDRI. (will raise dopamine, which will lower choline as well)

5. Also request Diphenhydramine and Benzatropine (<-- in perticular) as a night-time drug, to help you sleep. They also have anticholinergic effects, but on the muscarinic receptors. (there are two types of aCh-receptors: nicotinic and muscarinic - which then have sub-types of their own)

You should have everything covered then - especially with the combo of Bupropion and Benzatropine.

https://en.wikipedia...ki/Benzatropine

https://en.wikipedia...Diphenhydramine

These could be useful as well, but primarily in rotation with the others, to prevent tolerance, yadda yadda... Benzat is the best.

https://en.wikipedia...wiki/Doxylamine

https://en.wikipedia...wiki/Oxybutynin

(Oxybutynin has somewhat nasty side-effects, as a word of warning... very effective though.)

I'm going through the exact same thing don't worry. Read my thread:  http://www.longecity...e-2#entry787007

Stinkorninjor has been very helpful in that thread so definitely listen to what he has to say.

1. Like both people have said immediately stop taking the omega 3's and don't get back on them.
2. buy CDP-choline (you may have to order online) and take 1 capsule (250mg) and see how it affects you, repeat this again the next or another day to make sure it wasn't a placebo (maybe up the dosage to 500mg if 250 had little to no effect). It may make you feel incredibly shit but it is important to make sure it is choline. The effects will not last don't worry.

after that and you know it is choline then I suggest seriously limiting the amount of choline in your diet, no fish, no eggs, try and avoid dairy, no red meat, this is hard but its the only thing so far that has helped me. I would then suggest buying some l-tryptophan, and l-tyrosine (you may have to order online) and testing them on an empty stomach on different days no more than 500mg. This is to test which monamines are low (serotonin, dopamine, norepinepherine) and report back here. Do not fear if these make you feel a lot worse (refer to my thread).

Once you have done this then you can try diphenhydramine or the other drugs mentioned by Stink, (for me they were not viable, and didn't really work but that may be for other reasons).

Some of those things you experience are exactly what tryptophan and 5htp gives me. Consider also trying tryptophan or 5htp to see if those worsen your symptoms.

I would be willing to bet my left kidney that he is experiencing acetylcholine overload. I have done the exact same thing as him and have experienced every single symptom he has listed and those mentioned later.

like stink said buy CDP choline and test it to see if your symptoms worsen.
