I don't know have you heard of Dr. Takashi Tsuji, he basically invented hair cloning.

 

It's only on mouse so far, but human trials should start very soon.

 

We will have hair as thick as we want if it works, he said it will be released in 2020 in Japan.

 

Sounds little too early, but you know Japanese, they like to be on time.

I was under the impression that this had already been achieved several years ago. I definitely remember reading an article about it somewhere. If I remember right, the article said that it’s totally doable right now in humans, except for one glitch: the angle of growth. Human hair normally grows at a 30° angle to the scalp, but so far all the cloned human hair we’ve been able to produce insists on growing straight out. The way I understand it, all we have to do is figure out a way to make it grow at the right angle and we’ll have it.
