Last I asked him he said that his anhedonia was due to depression and it is now under control with antidepressant medication.

I got emotions back with ssri + Nortriptyline combination. I think my search has concluded

Yes thats me. I decided to go off the combination, and tried methyl b12 + folate.

the effect didn't last so i think it may have been placebo. unfortunately.

SSRI + TCA still remains the best combo ive tried for anhedonia though, so i'll return to it soon

When you finally think you've found something that works then it stops working all of a sudden or you realize that it only helped with a tiny spectrum of emotions but not the full spectrum.

Hah you understand anhedonia well.

But, contrary to what the internet says, i think psychiatric meds have the biggest impact on allowing you to access the full spectrum of emotions.

You just have to find "the one" that is compatible with your neurochemistry. If it isn't, it will make you more numb.
