Pomegraniin A is implicitly suggested as an alternative activator of SOD2/SIRT3 to Urolithin, Resveratrol.  All data is in vitro, but seems interesting nonetheless.

It would be interesting to know why Johan Auwerx went with Urolithin A and if he ever evaluated Pomegraiin A.

Pomegraniin A is a potent inhibitor of advanced glycation end (AGE) product formation.

Pomegraniin A is the best inhibitor of AGEs in various polyphenols and Aminoguanidine as a positive control in vitro.  Urolithins exhibit little/no control over AGEs.

very interesting.

Something strange: Fisetin is shown as the best SIRT3 activator while this study that studied carefully the details of binding sites and ligand interactions between sirtuins and their activators, Fisetin was found as a SIRT1 activator and a SIRT3 inhibitor... https://www.ncbi.nlm...les/PMC3504108/

We need some info there

I like Icariin and PQQ. (accessible)

I started using HGW after posting on page 2 of this thread:

Pomegraniin A looks very interesting.
Is it available as a supplement at a clinically effective dosage?
