Hi Guys,

Long time coming with this post.  About 17 years ago I took what I thought was an Ecstasy pill, and shortly after felt a rush of panic through my body and my hands began to tingle and curl up.  I spent that night in a total funk, worried about circulation, but I made it through...and thought I was OK until I started getting hives a couple days later.  It happened anytime I started to sweat, exercise, or was out in the sun (cholinergic urticaria).

I went to the docs and was treated with Zyrtec, but to my surprise the next morning after taking it, I woke up covered in larger wheals and hives all over from the neck down.  It took 2 days for it to go away.  In time, I would also try Allegra, and Benadryl and have the same thing happen all 3 times.

Somewhere in the middle I decided to have some drinks, and was shocked when my normal amount of daily hives completely vanished in 20-30 minutes.  Doesn't matter what kind of alcohol I drink; beer, liquor or wine all stop the hives in there tracks.  I also just felt much better overall and happy.  So, I did for this some years before it kind of stopped working and I was developing other problems.  I had tinnitus, visual snow, and tingling/blood capillary circulation type issues (spider veins).

Then, I started taking finasteride for hair loss, and magically again within a few weeks I started to notice all my fatigue, other problems were going away.  My vision became noticeably clearer, and I wasn't getting any hives while exercising even without alcohol.  I used the drug for a good year before some sexual side effects and bloating were causing me trouble so I stopped, and I noticed some of my symptoms coming back within about a month of cessation.

Today, I'm a total mess.  Something broke in my brain 7 years ago while trying to heal from chronic sinus problems.  I was on a course of nasal steroids that starting making my visual snow worse, than used opiates and that provoked a ton of problems.  One morning I woke up, and my whole perceptual world was annihilated...seeing trails everywhere, things taste, smell, and feel different.

I'm sharing all that because I found some supplements out of the 100s I tried and they were able to quickly make me feel better, but I don't know what the link between the 3 is.  Bilberry Root, Dandelion Root and Wobenzym all made me instantly feel relaxed, my muscle tension disappeared, the paleness in my face was gone, and my gastro issues chilled out.  Basically all my problems except for the visual trails (palinopsia) were gone.  But, when the supplement wears off, I wake up and feel completely dehyrated.  My skin looks matted and has red imprints from the mattress embeded.  My veins look bulging and hurt, and I have shooting pain all over.  I also feel extremely depressed and fatigued.  But the worst part is the muscle tension comes back squeezing my chest and neck making it feel like I couldnt breathe.  Only reports I find online that are similar are from people who say eating more salt helped them with the skin embed issue.

I don't know how those supplements mechanism of action work, but I suspect the Rutin in Wobenzym the active ingredient.

I really need you guys.  I've tried so many doctors, and years of trying on my own to solve it, but I haven't gotten anywhere.  I'm doing better overall but living a completely clean and straight lifestyle, because any little thing is a trigger.  Sorry for making this so long, I condensed 17 years as much as possible.  It seems autoimmune is a strong possibility, because corticosteroids seem to temporarily resolve my issues and finasteride is also a 5a-reductase inhibitor which affects hormone levels.  I have no idea how Bilberry, Dandelion and Wobenzym were able to work within an hour, because the hormone ones took weeks to be effective, but I suspect some kind of neurotransmitter issue.

What do you guys think?
