Telomere length reflects sirt1 activity. Increasing sirt1 activity with NAD+ precursors will slow down aging and increase telomere length. The decreasing NAD+ concentration is the root cause of aging.
Forget about telomere, take Niagen.

I don't know about niagen but niacin (nicotinic acid) has restored almost fully the hair color of my 70 year old Caucasian relative. But he still has hair loss, although some hair regrew (due to increased blood flow, nothing to do with being anti-aging).

Niagen is much much more effective at preventing aging. Some older people are getting younger including me. 5 years at least after one year of Niagen. Talking about longevity without knowing Niagen is like a blind person walking
A lot of people have taken niagen with no effects whatsoever. Please tell me what your effects were, and the effects seen in other people, as well as your dosage, frequency and duration of treatment.
Again, I am not accusing you of being deceitful but you have to answer these questions.. otherwise it appears like you're shilling

People have unrealistic expectations on Niagen. People who are healthy and below 40 may not feel much improvement after taking Niagen because your NAD+ may not be too low yet. But it doesn't mean it is not helping you to delay aging. The main expectation of taking Niagen is to improve your Mitochandria performance and prevent age related diseases. Depending on the dose you take and how old you are, you should see improvement in annual blood test results. But you may not feel it. I think these people are about 25%. Most people take it feel more energy. 25% people get smooth, shinny, and younger skin.
Combining low dose finasteride and Niagen, I have cured my prostate inflammation. There is no enlargement and there is no longer any pain. This is because Niagen can cure your nerve damage caused by high DHT. Low dose finasteride will lower DHT level in the prostate.
With nicotinic acid you get an extremely cheap product with a ton of health benefits for multiple diseases:
1. It reduces plaque deposits in atherosclerosis by reducing lipoprotein(a), as well as normalizing cholesterol transporter levels and being antiinflammatory in endothelial cells.
2. It has blood thinning properties and thus protects against strokes (I've tested it myself, can confirm).
3. It has antibacterial and potentially antiviral properties, boosts the immune system against some forms of bacterial infections.
4. It restores hair color in the elderly and increases hair growth.
5. It improves skin quality somewhat.
6. It protects against cognitive decline via multiple pathways.
7. It increases NAD..
Niagen is very expensive and lacks potency and has none of these properties that niacin has, with the exception of the antiinflammatorial effects in some specific tissue.
