What do you think of injecting a larger dose of L carnosine? My skin looks nicer form taking this I wonder if injecting a gram or more of it would give greater anti aging benefits.

Sounds like a good idea, just not seeing where you'd get the injections from. I am sure all of us here would love if you did such an experiment and see what it does longterm to you, as it's supposed to extend telomere length in skin cells.

Does carnosine improve your sense of smell?

They make injections for horses in lower concentrations. I could just get some pure l carnosine and dissolve it in some bac water then boil it to kill anything that could be in the powder but that might break it down into L-histidine and beta-alanine.

to my knowledge people who create steroids for selling add some specific acid or whatever to their injection oils to keep it from going rancid and for killing bacteria

I think I can use a .22 micron filter to filter out bacteria. I haven't noticed a better sense of smell.

I've been using injectable l-carnosine for a few weeks now. It seems to help with recovery and endurance. It's not too hard to make yourself it is readily solube in water.

So something like 1% benzyl alcohol mixed with distilled water or saline then filtering it through a .22 filter into sterile vials would work. Keep the concentration 200mg/ml or less. Per msds water solubility data for carnosine is somewhere around ~300mg/ml and also keep in mind of the molecular weight and osmolarity.

Or you can get injectable l-carnosine for horses. https://racehorsemed...100ml-physine/

Its made for animals but are made under similar pharmaceutical standards, so its sterile.

I decided to go with the injectable route because carnosine doesn't have the greatest oral bio-availability and it is pricey if you want to get in 1-2g/day.

I typically take 250mg once or every other day. I mix it in with other stuff I'm taking (i.e glutathione). I've been using a 250mg/ml concentration.

How's the injectable glutathione? I made some at 200mg/ml and it stung like a bitch.

Mix the glutathione with something else. Mixing it with l-carnosine or l-carnitine makes it fairly smooth going in and also not much post injection pain. Taurine works as well. Or you can dilute some of the glutathione with taurine. 25-50mg/ml. Keep in the mind taurine has low water solubility its about ~70mg/ml.

What is the maximal solution you could get away with considering you want to inject l-carnosine, taurine, and l-glutathione in one shot?

I know a guy who makes 100ml 400mg/ml injectible Carnitine

I don’t know if he would want his info posted publicly but you can PM me and I can send you his email. He only ships within the United States just an FYI. I havent personally used it but have many acquaintances who have. He is very good about everything being sterile and filtered properly, etc.
