I am interested to do magnesium sulfate intramuscular injections.

My motivation to do this is of time and to deliver it 100%. Transdermal MgSo is always messy. Also i do not like to do bath every other day. I plan to inject slooowly starting with 50mg MgSo in 5ml and move from there to maximum 150mg in 5ml a day into the Musculus vastus lateralis. Also for burning sensations i plan to mix a little procain in there.

The information for DIY magnesium sulfate intramuscular injections is somewhat hard to find. Has anybody some experience with it? How do you do it? What are the dangers and benefits?

Its dirt cheap in pharmacies (at least where I live) what is the point to make it yourself ? If you want to inject anything in your body you better be sure its 100% sterile and made from pharma grade components.

its 250 mg per ml in commercial solution.

BTW its quite painfull to inject IM, that why its usually IV solution in emergency (you need to control blood pressure as it can drop dramatically during administration), or oral forms for long term.

In other words IM administration would not give the volume that needed too increase Mg at once but too painful for long term.

Possible alternative is MgSO micro enemas. You could achieve high concentration in solution but would not force diarrea which is inevitable if you take it orally.

I also researched the MgSO enemas. It is as risky as IV when not done right

Thank you! the nebuliser is new to me for magnesium delivery. Hope this will make me breath deeper and deliver some 100mg MG per day. Will test it and report
