Information about the shape & age of the Earth, the origin of species, global flood etc. in the Bible is incorrect. Therefore it's not an inerrant book that is always literally correct. Everyone is aware of this, right?

... As far as origin of the species and the global flood go, to the best of my knowledge science hasn't established any concrete proof on this.

You have been misinformed. Scientific evidence has established both evolution and global flood at the level of scientific fact. The level of certainty in these matters is 100%, at the same level as "Australia exists".

Low information and misinformed.  :)  Offer still stands.  You have been asked to show your source  for this nonsense,  Haha.  :)

Did religious types deprive you of education and replace it with "alternative facts"? Or are you self-taught?

I am self taught, went to state and Christian schools.  What do you base your absurd, low information bigotry on?  Also tell me what are the "alternative facts?"

The Bible is silent on the issue of cannabis, just as it is silent on organ transplants, antibiotics, and cloning. These things weren't known to the writers in the Bible, and they simply have nothing to say about them. The Bible neither says it is allowed, or prohibited.

As for the Constitution, we do not have any such right. Since the founding, we've had laws regulating what you are allowed to sell, and what you are allowed and not allowed to do with your body. Prostitution has been illegal in many places both immediately before and immediately after the country was founded. If prostitution can be regulated, then so too can intoxication. Just as the Bible is silent on the issue of Cannabis, so is the Constitution. It can be both legal, or illegal. Both are possible under the Constitution.

"Alternative facts" say that there was a global flood recently and that species did not evolve from earlier forms. This is very think BS of course..

Very true, but we do not have to have a direct comment to draw principals and do theology and ethics.

Yes just as those saying the Bible is speaking of a global flood,  Why are you insisting on this low information nonsense.  This is not the place but you might continue this discussion elsewhere.  This also goes for evolution which has been discussed at length in the Religion section.  Obviously you are having a hard time staying on topic  and you seem itching to argue "Alternative facts," here which have absolutely nothing to do with the topic.  What do you think of weed?

Cannabis falls into seed bearing plant and a green plant. The Bible quite clearly mentions cannabis generally, but not specifically as shown below.

Genesis 1:11, 29-30

11 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.

29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

The US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence provide the people with broad principles which define rights and guarantee protection from unnecessary governmental intrusions. In the case of cannabis, our government has intruded unnecessarily on our right to possess and use cannabis without a legitimate reason - especially in the case of the strains of cannabis that are not psychoactive (won't get you high). Did you look at http://cannabisasmed...bis/index.html ?

I have no problem with any plant used in a constructive way even if not mentioned in the Bible.  However I have also had lots of experience with people who misuse.  Not the same thing.

shadowhawk, the Bible forgot to mention that all species, including humans, are produced in the evolutionary process. That is an error, if one reads the Bible literally.

If you want to discuss your misconception I would be happy to do so in the spirituality and religion section where it would be on topic.  I invite you to do so and have updated the intelligent design topic with the invitation.

The discussion on evolutionary processes belongs in science forum, not a religious one. If you wish to discuss scripture we could talk why the Bible implies there was a global flood (there wasn't) or why Intelligent Design is not mentioned in any way in the Bible..

I know you are itching to get off topic here but again and again and again I invite you to discuss it else where.  :)
