I took my first AlivebyNature NMN yesterday, wow, so normally I would take a Niagen along with a (supposed) Pterostilbene 1000mg and Vit-D3 3000IU with juice first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, this followed with a half teaspoon of L-Glutamine Powder and a half teaspoon of Vit C powder, usually (but not yesterday) a home made fruit and veg smoothy as well.
Normally by the time I leave for work (+/- 1hr) I had a slight Niacin flush, yesterday I followed the same protocol minus the smoothy, about 20 mins later it hit with a bang, the tops of my wrists and back of my neck were suddenly itching, the tops of my legs knees to thighs and my back were positively glowing warm and I had a tingling sensation under my skin, and some slight nausea (not to bad)
Of course I found later that AlivebyNature actually recommend NOT taking it on an empty stomach, so none to blame but myself, this morning I had the Vit C and L-Glutamine earlier as usual with juice, later (about 2hrs) I had some crackers with cheese and then did the Vit D, Pterostilbene 1000mg and the NMN and the effects were much milder, but I do feel it, I'm not a chemist or anything but I would compare Niagen as Petrol and NMN as Rocket fuel
That was one pill of the booster NMN
Also pricing, I bought 3 bottles of 60 caps each and the price was very comparable to their Niagen I think about $155 (135EUR Approx) with shipping to the EU. It's definitely not more expensive.

@Del369 are you sure you take 1000mg = 1g of pterostilbene per day? That doesnt sound right...
What health benefit markers do you intend to track to assess the NMN, Nam, Niacin combined supplement impact?
Thanks Stefan you just made me double check the Pterostilbene bottle and it's 150mg not 1000mg, I'll edit my post as well, I had 2 bottles from "Advanced Nutrition" the 1000mg was Resveratrol, I was sceptical about the source (they came from EBay) and I didn't see the Pterostilbene on their homepage so I mailed them and asked if it was their product and I received a mail back saying yes it actually was although temporarily discontinued.
As for health benefit markers, well along with not being a chemist I'm also not a scientist I tend to do things on instinct, I'm well into my 50's haven't exactly lead the saintliest of lives I've been doing Niagen for well over a year and for me the effects were always subtle, unfortunately for me I'm a smoker, but I try to stick to vaping or these new heat not burn things, back last year when i was exclusively vaping I had a couple of instances where I needed to run a short distance, back when I was smoking cigarettes that run would have left me fighting for breath, while vaping I felt this extra energy something I'd never felt before, this happened a few times and I do put that down to the Niagen.
With NMN now day 3 I've lessened the effect by eating before taking it and I still feel a definite effect, not sure what but I like it and I believe it's doing me good I guess health markers will be not getting sick, still not turning into my parents just yet and not feeling that gradual physical deterioration that starts to make itself known once you get to 50+ will be a good enough marker for me.
*Edit* I guess the Edit option is time based I don't see a link to change it now.

Del369 was probably taking the first NMN they made, that included Niacin, which caused the flush.
