Why do I seem to always get anxiety from nicotine (no matter if it's via cigarettes, snus or gum) and caffein? And it's not only afterwards when it's wearing off but in the peak as well.

This is less distinct so I don't know if it's true but I also feel like I get anxiety from both st johns wort and ashwagandha.

What could be the reason?

These 2 things are well known for anxiety. If you asking about specific mechanism, don't know.
If st johns wort increases serotonin, it could do it too.
Not sure of ashwaghanda, I though it helped anxiety and stress?

Yes but aren't those two, especially nicotine, suppose to give an anxiety relief - especially during the peak?

Not for me. Maybe when you're addicted?
