Hey guys, I recently made a 1 gram tryptophan and 1 gram phenylalanine drink mixed with a bottle of water and this KILLED my anxiety. I have been analyzing my thoughts a lot lately and notice a lot of my anxiety comes from bad thoughts about things in my life. I then get flustered and then my anxiety kicks in. This is negative thinking and I think linked to depression. So there is a strong depression and anxiety link here. This drink should be typically used for depression (tryptophan makes serotonin and phenylalanine makes dopamine) but it did both. The drink made me very happy and thus not depressed and thus I did not have anxiety.

I should note that I have severe anxiety that put me out of work for several years and I was hospitalized for it. Thus if it works for me it could work well for others as well.

I have been having two of these drinks at work. Carbs will also increase the effect, so you can eat with it as well.

no, i was just asking. I find DLPA itself worse for anxiety. haven't tried the L form nor a combo.

Pheny gives you energy, motivation, confidence, and happiness as dopamine is used for depression as well. By itself I'd imagine it'd be bad for anxiety yes, but when you add in tryptophan it works well. You are too happy to be anxious, the two are strongly correlated.

And for those who say all this didn't work for my anxiety, just try some boron and iodine first! And maybe some natural vitamin C, after all it is a biological electrical insulator that is synergistic with p5p in the nerve sheath coating growth, along with K2 and some amino acids. I've known for 30 years, the media would rather keep pushing it's false narratives about genetics, war, food additives, cosmology, pharma, corperate lies, etc instead of real things that solve problems. Thx.

i tried the DLPA/tryptophane combo once and felt nothing positive. not surprising as I didn't benefit from those separately. either it has to be LPA or i have different anxiety (mine is more like social/performance).

I have social anxiety. Is performance anxiety anxiety as work? Maybe you need more drinks throughout the day. Like a magnesium glycinate, l-theanine, and glycine drink. But a tryptophan and phenylalanine drink does make you happy which decreases anxiety. You are supposed to take it with carbs as well.

good idea, but it's frowned upon at my work.

I am talking about amino acid, mineral, and other types of drinks like that, not alcohol.

Lol, iodine used with B3 can motivate the immune system strongly, whilst attracting other nutrients.
This method works well to get all the other stuff you're taking to work consistently week after week.
My advice to all who use concentrated foods is, quarter dose everything unless A, you know what you're doing B, you want to become imbalanced C, you're going to take a course D, you can use symptoms to guide amounts of other nutrients involved in the pathways!
