You don't see them because apparently you've never been nor lived in Japan (I'm talking specifically for japan here not just Asians you see in your country) otherwise you'd have known how popular are the breadmakers and Noodles/Udon there.

Did you happen to notice all the fast-food chains in Japan? McDonalds, KFC, Pizza-hut? Or where those hidden behind the mountains of wheat?

You guys are funny, like a sewing circle arguing about the difference between thread colours on a pretty flower. You are missing the point.

It really is simple and has been established for many years.

Potential lifespan is affected by protein, via less mTOR stimulation.

The ability to avoid disease and use some of that increased potential lifespan is impacted mostly, but not exclusively, by reduced carbohydrate consumption with autophagy benefits assisting MTOR due to reduction in cell turnover.

Excessive carbs increases insulin levels, amongst other problems, which increase chances of various diseases.

Also, some people do well on low carb, while others not so much. A high percentage of women are unable to adapt to ketosis.

Carbs are not evil. Timed use of carbs can be very beneficial, just as excessive amounts are a death sentence.

Yeah and they are nothing like the fast-food chains you see in america or elsewhere, both in menu, ingredients and sizes, not to mention the many Japanese-style fast food chains  who serve high quality food, including Meat, seafood, vegetables, ramen and soba dishes.

Carry on, you entertain me
