but for longevity it's a mistake to think it will give you any more than it gave rats--ie, a couple of extra years.

"The fullerene nanoparticles are quickly internalized by the cells and they had low toxicity to proliferation of hMSCs. The C60(C(COOH)2)2 nanoparticles could promote cell proliferation, enhance osteoclast differentiation of hMSCs"

https://www.ncbi.nlm...ubmed/24245108/

So at least that form of C60 induces proliferation of human mesenchymal stem cells.

I have no doubt C60 stimulates stem cells. The question is, will it keep doing that over time?

Well, hMSC don't hang around very long.

So proliferation therapies would have to happen frequently and in a continued intermittent pattern.

I believe the proliferation is also VERY dose dependent, as seen by the failure of studies that did not gavage at 1.4 mg/kg like Batti, to show any longevity effect.

Small daily doses, IMHO WILL NOT result in the type of life extension seen in Baati.

The rat dosage was actually 1.7mg/kg -- once daily for seven days, weekly for the remainder of 2 months, then every 2 weeks till the end of the 7th month.

So that is approximately 24 doses of 1.7mg/kg

I personally have only dosed so acutely 3 maybe 4 times -- but saw reversal of gray hair

-- That dosing is equivalent to 4 grams for a 100 kilo human

In 2012 I saw hair regrowth with a very low dose, but that gradually faded. So perhaps a much larger dose would be needed the second time around. Since you are now doing larger doses, you will soon be able to tell us if that is true.

As for studies that "did not gavage at 1.4 mg/kg like Batti," what studies are those?

Age vivo and Ichor -- they used small doses added to food

in one or both cases -- daily

I think it is difficult to gavage mice without stressing them to death -- hence why the Baati study should be replicated with multiple cohorts of Wistar Rats.

FWIW -- I replicate GAVAGE by guzzling on an empty stomach

Age vivo's uncontrolled study was worthless, and Ichor's study wasn't comparable. Nor can I find the dosage.

My point -- exactly.

If there is a study that actually replicates the same 1.7mg/kg gavage dosing with Wistar Rats -- we could validate or falsify the conclusions of Baati et al.

Else, we are left to our own devices.  I'm probably close to 4 grams cumulative ( I bought a few dozen of Vaughter Wellness 45mg/50ml bottles, and I also have consumed a few grams from my own mix.)

Randynaz

This might be your reaction to coconut oil, but not to c60? just guessing.

Coconut oil in itself has detox reaction. it also gives you some energy boost. when i took coconut oil as supplemental, just one tablespoon i experienced not so good sensation, and about several minutes i went into comfort room LBM. IIRC i think it took me a week before i felt ok. then i upped my daily intake to two tablespoons a day, at that time i noticed some endurance.

--------------------

I watched sarah westall asked the two scientist in the vid about, does it need to be olive oil? scientist on the right answered: any oils that have fatty lipids.
https://youtu.be/aYF-slG6u6w?t=1839

I just bought only 1 gram c60 99.5 reagent (sesres) to do my own homebrew c60. also bought 1 liter coconut oil as it is readily available fresh in my country (in Asia). But upon further reading on SV website, it said cliff high is a fraud and coconut oil is not proven in clinical research. http://c60antiaging....livelongerlabs/

Please do comment Sensei, Turnbuckle, Hav or anyone

Thanks

niner is probably the better person regarding the fatty acids bonds

However,

Olive oil = mainly Oleic Acid -- monounsaturated

Coconut Oil  = mainly Palmitoleic myristoleic and Lauric Acid - saturated

I took it in olive oil not coconut oil. I’m not scientist but I’d guess the different oil both prolly get the c60 in the body but maybe to different areas or through different methods and that could result in different outcomes. Turnbuckle I believe took it with MTC oil, which I believe has some similar fats as coconut oil. Further broken down I think. Please correct me if I’m mistaken..

apology Randynaz, but i mistook your name. it's for Rebirth (the one who took purple power)

I read a post from someone who have been floxed that took C60oo, experienced not good too http://www.longecity...ndpost&p=524410. and another one here http://www.longecity.org/forum/topic/78536-very-bad-response-to-c60-interaction-with-other-meds/ . I am not saying you were floxed, but maybe you can connect the dots.

Anecdotal report: I began my experimentation with C60 in Medium Chain Triglyceride oil (the only stuff I could find at the time was from NOW Foods.)  I experienced an immediate effect, similar to the results I get from c60oo.

Simply because results have not been published in a refereed scientific journal does NOT mean that such results do not exist - simply that they have not been published.  Anyone who does enough research will discover documented cases of academic fraud in the scientific community, as well in any governmental regulatory apparatus.  We can be our own authorities on our own results and let the rest of the world make up their own minds for a change.

Did you mix hydroxytyrosol with it too?

Although it seems to be popular I try to avoid saturated fats like coconut oil, Granted they're more stable on the shelf but they release more energy in the body when they do burn up and the smaller chain ones can release their energy right in the liver.  Mcts tend to take the Portal Vein express directly to the liver. That might be a good thing for a new born baby whose digestive tract is not up to optimal function yet... which is why most newborn formulas include neobee oil... but might not be so good for adults.  This pancreatic cancer study seems to suggest as much:

Increased risk associations were observed for saturated FAs (1.48 [0.97-2.23]), butyric acid (FA 4:0) (1.77 [1.19-2.64]), caproic acid (FA 6:0) (2.15 [1.42-3.27]), caprylic acid (FA 8:0) (1.87 [1.27-2.76]) and capric acid (FA 10:0) (1.83 [1.23-2.74]).
