I’ve been buying provigil from a web pharmacy based in U.K. for just $45 and I just don’t get it. Why is it that the U.K. can do brand name modafinil so cheap so it’s competitive even with pharmacies based in Asia while in the USA it’s much more?

I would suggest that you read this dissertation  - see Essay I: Pharmaceutical pricing in a regulated market - as it will explain a lot to you about regulations and the regulated market  (in this instance they are looking at Sweden but in the UK it is much the same) whereas in the USA there are no price regulations.  The rest of rest is very interesting but I think Essay I will give you what you need as to why the great variance in pricing between the UK and the USA
