Hi,

I am a 25 years old male. I was recently diagnosed with ADHD. Below is my stack.

Morning -

1 Ritalin 10 mg

1 L theanine

1 Eptril 0.25mg

1 tablet flax seed

1 multivitamin

1 Bacopa bacopa monnieri 250 mg

1 Sattara 18 mg

Afternoon -

1 Ritalin 10 mg

1 L theanine

1 tablet flax seed

1 multivitamin

1 Bacopa bacopa monnieri 250 mg

Noopept 10 mg

Night

1 L theanine

1 tablet flax seed

1 Bacopa monnieri 250 mg

This has so far worked very well for me. Initially, I faced side effects like anxiety but not anymore.

I want to ask if I can add Adromodafinil on a regular basis in the morning 50 mg.

do it your own risk. personally, adramodafinil gives me headaches with any stimulants (including coffee).

if the "stack" is working well, don't change it. too much stimulation will down-regulate your receptors.

Oh. How do I upregulate my receptors?

I have searched online and have found various methods but not a definite one.

What are you trying to achieve by adding armodafinil?

great someone who actually knows what the drug is.

If the OP doesn't even know what the name of the drug is why on earth do they want to take it.  I feel that they have been reading too much garbage  life isn't a stack and prescription meds are not a game so why throw everything at it.  Heck this isn't a stack of pancakes and you are not pouring maple syrup over it what you are doing is experimenting and who experiments by pouring some ketchup and maybe strawberry jam over that maple syrup?  Not me.  If there is amongst this a prescribed medication ( I am not certain if the Ritalin has been prescribed as it has not been said), rather than a self prescribed med, then I would consult my doctor/psychiatrist and consult them and not post this on a website as it isn't a question for any of us to answer.  However, it is recommended that you only take one stimulant at a time and no decent doctor/psychiatrist would ever prescribe armodafinil, which produces psychoactive effects and shares biochemical mechanisms with stimulants, when taking Ritalin which is a psycho-stimulant.

Okay exploring stuff is fine but putting two prescription medications together and hoping it will add to your stack isn't what I would ever recommend.  I think that if you cant even get the name of the drug correct then yes what the heck are you hoping to achieve by adding armod as obviously you for a start dont know what the drug is and therefore how can you possibly know what it will add.  So the only sensible poster on here is CWF1986 as he has asked a very pertinent question as what are you the OP hoping to achieve

I'm just going to add that you (OP) are already taking 3 very powerful prescription pharmaceutical drugs between the ritalin, strattera (I think that's what you meant) and clonazepam.

Both ritalin and strattera are known to be activating and both have the possibly of causing or increasing anxiety.  Armodafinil also can do this and it too is very activating.

I can't make a suggestion without knowing what symptoms you're having trouble controlling.  As someone with ADHD myself and the countless hours I've spent learning about the disorder and treatment (including pharmaceutical, lifestyle, learning skills, and therapy) I know that this is a disorder with a broad range of symptoms.  My ADHD isn't your ADHD so to speak and it's a disorder that isn't cured, only symptoms are lessened.

I'm curious, have you tried anything to treat ADHD other than medicines.  The medicines definitely are life changing for me, but the other things I listed above were/are just as important.

For me, the combination of Nortriptyline (similar MOA of Stratterra regarding ADHD) and adderall were amazing for focus and help some with motivation.  But I still had issues with restlessness motivation.  That took learning some life skills in therapy.  I also keep aniracetam and theanine around when restlessness or anxiety become real bad.  I've learned a lot about those two substances and I knew what symptoms I wanted help with.  I also made a medication log where I would jot down notes about how I was feeling 1-2x a week so I could then look at those notes a few to several weeks later and see if I notice patterns and get a really good idea whether they're helping or not.

it is okay to get headaches from caffeine, I forget what but there is some anecdote to this.  A hard head or something.

Anyways caffeine makes a poor primary treatment in ADHD, since it cannot be taken in the evening and this is a great time to be productive (or it should be).
