I'd like to know what people think about the feasibility of simulating the universe on a computer.

If my logic is correct, then we could use a computer simulation of the universe as a template from which to design self-aware artificial intelligence.

Take a look: http://www.brentpete...wp/2012/08/1008

This is an interesting concept, and one some of our associates have been looking at. The first steps for creating such a computer are those in connection with Jupiter brains or Matrioshka brains. This can run an enormous number of calculations needed for the simulation.

This is important in respect to studying some of the mechanisms involved in achieving indefinite lifespans, particularly the use of information vs entropy increase (for some background info see www.elpisfil.org)

Already being done as you know, though not in great detail, but it's increasing weekly

the scheme is that if you can log the laws of physics and synthesise with The Records (all digitalised data bases)

you can complete it with X degrees of accuracy:

If it is possible, then it already has been done; chances are that we are simulated rather than not.

Not necessary. There are many things, that can be done at that moment, but are not done.

We may live in a calculatable universe, without being calculated at the moment.
