I want to get a more serious understanding of biochemistry and anything related to mission. I was thinking you might be able suggest a schedule of classes for me that would get me started. MIT has a ton of great classes listed on their website, but I can't say that I know enough to know which would be the most direct way of getting useful knowledge. If you're a biotech or biochem type pro, please make some suggestions for me and group them by semester.

I've had a handful of biology and chemistry classes in the past, but that was a while back, so I plan to take it from the top and make sure I have a thorough and up to date understanding of things.

I also need some compsci and programming knowledge to make the best use of my time so I can hit the ground running and do all the excercises etc in code as I would do it in a pro environment.

It seems to me that we need more people that understand chemistry, including nutritional biochemistry and communications. How does one engage others by making complex chemistry relative to longevity easy to understand so that the public is interested.

Use of social media fits into that.

Just a few things I picked up from the MIT site:

Chemistry

Science Writing and New Media: Elements of Science Writing for the Public
Writing on Contemporary Issues: Imagining the Future
Science Writing and New Media
Networked Social Movements: Media & Mobilization
