It works. The active is reserpine, which depletes catecholamines. Reserpine was used extensively for hypertension decades ago.

Hmmm not sure if I’d want that. Reserpine depletes stores of catecholamines and 5-hydroxytryptamine in many organs, including the brain and adrenal medulla. Probably would effect motor function decline and cognitive impairment.
