Its been 4.5 years into healing from benzo withdrawal and figured it’s time to maybe try out some supplements for brain health and hope I don’t get adverse reactions from them.
I’ve read that Vit D should not be taken without Vitamin K2 but then other articles state it needs to be taken with calcium? What if I don’t need calcium? Does it also need to be taken with magnesium? I’m female so maybe Vit K2 would be helpful for monthly periods.

Also would like to incorporate B6 but may have read something awhile back about it and neuropathy?

I’m hoping fish oil will not be stimulating and cause insomnia. In fact I hope none of these cause insomnia or trigger wave symptoms.

Any suggestions on which one above I should start off with first? Fish oil for the inflammation or the B6 for nerve regeneration?

I doubt for sure I would be stimulating for you. I was suggest a 2:1 DHA to EPA ratio

Everyone will absorb B6 differently but doses would need to be astronomically high for Neurodamage. A good source is coenzymated B6

Vitamin D and K2 work well together. Calcium isn’t needed. Magnesium will help but I prefer magnesium on an empty stomach for best absorption and VitD/K2 need to be taken with a meal containing some fat for proper absorption.

Also look into black cumin seed oil as it helps with Gaba repair. So does valerian root and emoxypine.

Thanks for the reply!  I feel a bit more confident about starting a regimen containing these supplements.  I just realized I have a slow COMT gene and probably need several things to help my brain healing along.  I'm was using quercetin and curcumin for inflammation issues and had no idea it would impact me negatively due to that gene.  Now i'm not sure what options I have for inflammation.
