My hs-crp came in at 0.1,the lowest possible. How legit is the research correlating this to health outcomes? Is there any plausible argument that a reading this low could actually be bad (low immune system response)?

HS-CRP is a good indicator of inflammation somewhere in the body. High levels of inflammation can be an indication of certain conditions (autoimmune, cancer, etc), and it's also a risk factor for certain future diseases, including cancer.

However, I'm not aware of any evidence that low inflammation by itself is a good indicator for health outcomes. There are definitely times when inflammation is warranted and important, and where a lack of inflammatory response would reflect illness, not health.

Low HS-CRP basically means that you currently don't have a certain set of conditions, not that you don't have (or won't get) others.
