First, a summary of the current projects:

1) Tapuz Commune - http://www.tapuz.co....communaid=17626
2) Israblog Blog - http://israblog.nana...asp?blog=225403
3) WTA Blog - http://www.transhuma....php/wta-israel
(they're all the same so far, since there are barely any readers and participants)

Both are open and working. Both have tiny audiences but we're still in the beginning.

A nice tidbit: If you google for transhumanism in Hebrew, you get 9 results. 6 of them are "ours". That is, links to the blog, commune or to sites linking to them. The bad news are of course the fact that there are only 9 results.

To get to the point, I need help.

1) Comments. Posts will be added roughly once every few days. Just comment on them using the "add tguva" link at the bottom of post. You're all familiar with the issue of transhumanism so writing a couple of sentences of your thoughts is easy. All I ask for is one comment per one post per one person. There is a positive feedback loop, the more people comment, the more people comment.

2) Ideas for posts. If you happen to stumble upon an idea, I'll be all ears at Eli3210^at^gmail.com.

3) Posts. If the blog takes off, I'll buy the Pro version, allowing multiple writers. But I intend it to be a joint effort even now. So you're all welcome to write, but it would be best if you let me know before writing. Your posts will be posted and credited, but I reserve to myself the right to do some basic spelling, punctuation and paragraphing editing.

Thanks, Eli.

Btw, if anyone is interested in posting at the WTA-Israel blog, you can transfer your username at WTA to Marcelo, either through Eli or me, and he'll add you to the posters' list.

Woot! If you want you can PM the username and password to the blog on isra and I can design it, however, that is pleasing to see some have already read it and replied. As for you not completely knowing how to answer some questions, I can assist you. Overpopulation for instance, well, I can easily handle that argue :)

That's great, Adi! Design is one of those things that have to be done but I have no idea how to do it.

What do you have in mind? In my opinion the colors must be bright and the design definetely must be serious and solid. No screaming colors and all those crazy stuff I see all around Israblog. We also must use a simple logo, not one of those huge pictures people sometimes use. I'm fond of the current image, but maybe you can find a better one.

When I find free time I can design a photo too, not huge of course, and light colors indeed.

Adi,

Thanks for the design. Do you have the logo image saved on your harddisk, apparently the site that hosted it is dead.

his is David. i have changed my mind and i will give a presentation on the topic: Info-Reanimation a new strategy for our personal survival. since it is a new subject i am deeply involved now. if you agree of course. this presentation is ready and i am ready for whatever date you will decide. lots of good luck in our meeting.

anyone interested in having this meeting anytime soon (say in two or three weeks)? Any presentations ready? I have just given a talk on life-extensionism in our department, so I am personally more or less ready.

Danny, Alex, David, Daniel? How are your talks coming along? Would be great to hear your thoughts.
