Hi
So I've just started intermittent fasting. On the days that I fast for 12 - 14 hours it's like it re-sets my body clock and I seem very active
at night when I should be asleep and find myself snacking on things.
Not sure there's going to be much benefit in that. I wonder if anyone else had this, or ways to counteract it. The most obvious is to eat more during my eating time, but it's hard to guage how much to eat. If I go by appetite alone, then I just eat the same as when I'm not fasting. In other words my body doesn't try to eat more in less time, it tries to drag out the time for eating, even if it takes me into the night.
thoughts welcome, I'm glad I've got started on this though. I couldn't fast at all before due to the effect on my heart (causing flutters), but this seems to have calmed down now.
