In the NMN/NR debate, I frequently see people in the NR camp raise that NR is "safer" for having been "reviewed" by the FDA. Anyone who knows what the FDA does vis-a-vis supplements should know they can dismiss this out of hand but for shits and grins and in connection with a blog I had been setting up on the business of marketing NAD products, I submitted a few FOIA requests to the FDA. I thought people here would be interested in the results of one: the FDA has zero records of any complaints or investigation into any NMN product for being adulterated or unsafe. So you might infer that the FDA isn't quite as worried about NMN's safety as the competitors of NMN sellers...
