I live in the south of Israel and usualy there is about 3-5 times raining but this year it rained already about 7 and on top of that its a realy hot summer, there was just a week and a half that was realy cold. Do you think that it is because of the global warming? [huh]

Unofficially, the squalls have dumped 12 feet, 2 inches of snow at Redfield. If accurate, that would break the state record of 10 feet, 7 inches of snow that fell in nearby Montague over seven days ending Jan. 1, 2002, said Steve McLaughlin, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

Worcester is about a 30 minutes drive to my north. A record low temperature
was set this morning.

===============================================

Record cold in Worcester this morning! You made it down to 0° beating the old record of 2°, way to go. We're going to see another cold day, just not as biting cold. The trade-off is that there will be much less sun around. This for that--or whatever they say ;).

We have another arctic front headed for New England tomorrow. It will show up during mid afternoon & when it does watch out for some snow squalls and increasing wind. Temperatures should be able to make it into the mid 20s by early afternoon-- but then tumble into the teens by evening.

Temps are in fahrenheit degrees.

Man I hope this global warming kicks in soon.

Global warming refers to a worldwide average temperature, not to isolated areas on any given day. Weather is predicted to be more volatile under a warming regime, so perhaps some of the weather wierdness that everyone is seeing could be traced to warming. At any rate, the changes from global warming will not be the same everywhere. You might see desertification one place, and more rain somewhere else.

It was a record breaking morning today...the old record was 8° set back in 1943...this morning it was 5° in Boston. Some areas were even colder than that!
