What cream are you supposed to use (under the sunscreen)? Everyone seems to be using different things.
Should you use the same cream day and night or 2 different?

Other questions:
Can I use retin-a on my hairline or will I become bald?

Is this sunscreen good: Vichy Capital Soleil spf 30 (europe version) ?

Thanks for information

I've been wondering something along these lines also. If I understand correctly, we want the filters in the sunscreen to be absorbed into the upper layers of the skin, or else we would not be told to apply sunscreen 20-30 minutes before exposure. But we also DON'T want it to be absorbed into the deeper layers of the skin, or it will cause free radical damage that is actually worse than with no sunscreen at all. This is why we are told to RE-Apply every 2 hours. So, if we are using any other skincare products, should they go under the sunscreen, over the sunscreen, or not be used at the same time? Is there any tactic for slowing the absorption of the filters in order to stretch out the 2 hour window?

Creams: I use several including Juvese.

Retin-A is used in conjunction with minoxidil by some hair loss doctors to increase hair growth, so I doubt you'll go bald.

What type of ingredients should you look for in a cream? Juvess seems to use many antioxidants. Is there something else that is important? Are copper peptides good?

As listed previously on this forum, the most evidence exists for retin-A and other retinoids (e.g. tazarotene). Also anti-oxidants such as Ferrulic Acid + Vit. E + Vit. C have published support. Copper and other peptides have less support in scientific literature, but appear to also be beneficial.

It is very individual.
The best would be to use a cream rich in antioxidants.
If you are young you can use the same cream Am/Pm.

It is good. Mexoryl SX +XL, but it contains only UVA/PPD 10
La Roche Posay (same producer, same filters) UVA/PPD 18! So it is much better for the same price! :-D
