If we limit it to Lifetime Members, mostly lifetime members and some regular members will contribute. If we make it available to everyone but establish a preference towards members and lifetime members, we can still raise funds from a larger user base. However, it's in any organization's best interest to treat their members well. So if you have a non member and a member competing for it who are going to die on approximately the same day, then the member gets priority and we hope that other organizations can help out with the non member and try to raise additional funds.

For instance if Member and Nonmember need cryonics and cryonics costs 12k ea, we'd fundraise for 24k and the first 12k would go to Member and additional funds would go to Nonmember, hopefully with Venturism, CoPL, LW, or another organization helping to make up the difference for Nonmember if necessary. Even if we have the cash on hand to do this, the cash needs to be replaced for the next person, so we would always fundraise for the person needing the cryonics before disbursing the funds. For a member, we would always disburse the funds and continue fundraising to make up for any losses, whereas for a nonmember we would only pay out anything in the fund in excess of a KrioRus neuro suspension and keep raising fund up until their deanimation.
