"Are you a student? Then you could try to create a SENS-student group at your university/college; I am just in the process of doing this. So I figuered there is another student convinced of SENS (actualy one already at SENSFAI), then I created a pp-presentation, flyers which we distributed - our first introductory meeting is next week and we hope to get enough people to be able to do some more time consuming stuff. In principle there is a lot of things you could do:
try to get the contact adresses of newspaper ediors or TV hosts and propose to bring a story about SENS(F)/Aubrey (of course you have to explain why this could be a good/controversial story first); write letters/eMails to your MP or national funding agencies asking about their stand towards regenerative medicine and then shifting the content to SENS; do you know of a rich guy in you country who you think could be interested in SENS? - tell it to the SENS-foundation and try to get his contact details for them; try to create appealing(!) flyers of what SENS is about and always have some with you for distribution; translate Aubrey's TED-talk if you speak another language well; propose to your local library to buy a copy of "Ending aging"; in general when there is something to propose: do it (for public talks, workshops, discussion rounds etc.); is there a biomedical/transhumanist/whateverappropiate (student)group near you? join them and specialise into SENS/regenerative medicine within their frame of topics; get a more indepth knowledge about the SENS-fields and especially learn how to counter ethical concerns and the range of motives to do something against aging (and try to use at least some scientific vocabulary to not appear to be totally wired); if you are a researcher you could try to give your research a anti-aging context; tell your friends about SENS and send them a link to sens.org; be creative and think about where and how you can advertise/spread the word..."
Good ideas, except for the part with the newspapers and letters to MP - you don`t want to lose SENS any credibility and would have to get back to them first certainly.
