I was thinking that perhaps someone could develop the Imminst logo as a pin badge? You know the lovely little metal badges charities sell in attractive little boxes at retail outlets? They look pretty(I'm a collector), raise awareness and as other people wear them, people will ask about them and it will stimulate conversation.

Another maybe cheaper option would perhaps be those rubber charity wristbands. Perhaps there are people on this board who run shops or some other job where they have to deal with different people coming in and out? A box of pin badges, wristbands or both could be a nice way of raising money and awareness all at once. I would say it would be a good idea to sell bulk packs as well as individual items online, as those who would like to could then purchase bucketloads to sell on at events, shops, etc.

Bonus points if anyone has any celeb friends that general society would look up to and get them to wear such items...far fetched but you never know! :-D

Yes, good idea. Somebody else mentioned it too, and Ive been looking in to them. We just need a couple hundred dollars and we can do it. I dont know if this is a good time to propose such a vote though. We could come up with an alternate way though, like raise the money. The best way to sell them would then probably be the Imminst ebay store, and we could assign point values to them like you suggest. Ive also been looking into inch and a half coins.

We are working on running your transhuman jewelry through another ebay account too. If its successful I think we can probably make the case for moving it into the Imminst ebay.

I think plastic bracelets are available through our cafepress store at http://imminst.org/store (cafepress upgrading to cafepress.com/longecity) I could have the team working on it to add them if you want.

As a side note this reminds me of the 3d printing machine I saw in CNN today, pretty expensive, about $12,000 I think it was, but it will print 3d things in plastic. Anything from like a plastic bottle opener and a key chain to a bust of a head or a dna helix.

Can't see any plastic bracelets on there myself. That 3D printing machine sounds amazing! :-D As for the few hundred dollars, I don't know anyone rich and I'm not rich myself so I can't help you out there. Nce to know that my unwanted creations are doing good for someone out there...better than sitting in a bag and/or being taken apart and sold as scrap.

Or you could buy 10 3D printers for the same price.
