I've been reading about the b vitamins you don't see in supplement stores. There are lots of fascinating stories to them. Basically our modern processed foods are nearly completely devoid of them.

B17 for example is claimed to cure cancer in some cases.

Mr. Krebses himself (discoverer of the Krebs cycle) went so far as to patent a process for making Vitamin B15 and claimed it could be used to treat a lot of things.

I am interested in learning more about these higher level vitamins. If anyone has an exhaustive list of them or experiences, please reply.

This is all snake oil. There is no evidence that "vitamin B15" even does anything. Even worse, amygdalin, "vitamin B17" is a known poison. Furthermore it is not correct to call these vitamins because they are not necessary for the normal functioning of a human body.

Because people buy it. That's the reason why anything is sold. A substances availability to be able to be purchased has nothing to do with the effects that the substance has.

"B17" is a fancy term for a type of plant metabolite called a glycoside. There are vast numbers of glycosides and They do have some positive effect in vivo, including anti-cancer anti-inflammatory effects. Glycosides are abundant in non-processed foods. Orange peel, or real licorice for example are chock full. What you have listed are faux-vitamins and by no means unique or forbidden.

is Twizzlers considered real licorice? Not sure how to determine what real licorice is.

Real liquorice is a root that looks a bit like a thin version of sugar cane, or like a soft twig (as it often has bark). You can chew on it and it tastes of... liquorice.
