Hi so I am wondering if this is just a common trait for introverts, or something more. When speaking with others, I often notice that I make no eye contact unless I consciously do so. Like my default response is to glaze over and look to the side or down. Also, it is sometimes difficult to string together a sentence without thinking real hard about it. Simply put, speaking is mentally taxing and feels unnatural to me. This has been with me my entire life. I chalked it up to anxiety until I discovered supplements and new ways of thinking which rid me of worry, but the speech difficulty (the cause of my anxiety in the first place) remains. Should I see a therapist or is it normal for introvert types to have to force themselves to speak, even when they really feel like talking to someone?
