The pro-love / pro-social effects are probably from the other compounds that are found in common 50% resveratrol extract, assuming that's what you're taking. If you're taking a high purity resveratrol, then it's something else; perhaps a hormonal effect? Resveratrol has structural similarities to non-steroidal estrogen mimetics like the stilbestrols, and is an agonist of the estrogen receptor. The impurities in the 50% extracts are known psychostimulants, while the hormonal hypothesis is more iffy.
It's likely the estrogen effects. A few years ago when I was taking 300-500mg Resveratrol my face looked noticably cuter, I felt more kind and loving, and I was actually starting to slightly grow breasts which is something that I forgot about. It was small but it was obvious. That is when I started reducing the dose. The wrinkles and joint pains would keep worsening though and that was the final straw.
I used enzymatic 100% trans resveratrol proprietary longevity blend 325mg: *french whole wine grape and giant knotweed root and rhizome extracts containing: Resveratrol 65mg as 100% trans resveratrol, Japense Sophora Flower Bud Extract standardized to contain 80% rutin (quercitin rutinoside) 75mg. Who knows what else is in there.
But this brand usually made me feel better than the usual Resveratrol Only formulas. Most of those were 50% and joint pains may have been worse.
Also an important point I'd like to make is that Resveratrol even in small doses (10mg) esp the Proprietary blend makes my vision noticably sharper! And better visual connection. Normally I have bit desaturated and bit blurry vision where the color tones in videos blur together and it looks messy. But this product helps me in this regard. Most supplements do not even touch it. What might this be? I don't know what eye condition it is. Might be some form of retinopathy? There's also some alertness that usually accompanies the sharper vision.
Your Klotho gene might be impaired and it sounds to me like resveratrol might be attenuating here, lifting the brain fog and giving your wits back. Resveratrol increases Klotho gene expression as do Statins, Vit D3, Activated Vit D (be careful), melatonin, sunshine and exercise.

Your low hormones might be contributing to the drag on your brain function but that's a separate issue.
It might be worth sending out for a 23 & Me genetic report and running the raw data through Promethease. It will take a lot of guess work out of what you're trying to put together here. If you have a Klotho gene impairment it will show up and you'll have a better handle on the situation.
BTW what brand of Resveratrol are you using and at what dosage?
Currently my doses been between 10-20mg but I used to take 300-500+. I can't risk my wrinkles and joints getting worse which is a real shame because I felt bit more alive than I have in a while on the 2nd night that I took some resveratrol.
