I let myself get quite malnourished by not eating enough, and having little to no diversity to what I eat (basically a mix of nuts and seeds in the mornings, then salad for dinner) and seem to be paying the consequences now. I need to stick to a paleo style diet since I'm intolerant of grains. I don't have a juicer yet, but is there a way I can rapidly get high concentrations of nutrients into me by making some kind smoothy or milkshake?

What I'm thinking is:

 - Pea protein

 - Hemp protein

 - Chlorella and/or spirulina

 - Honey (for flavour)
  - Milled chia seeds

So all that will supply much of the amino acids needed. Theres clearly much more needed though, including fibers, minerals, vitamins, flavonoids, fats etc. Are there any good condensed sources of nutrients that you add to your shakes? Also what kind of supplements would you take on top of all this?

As the famous saying goes: "Eat real food, mostly plants, not too much."

Nuts and salads are a good basis on which to build (in comparison to a SAD with only processed ingredients) with lots of fibers, minerals, vitamins, flavonoids and fats you all seek. Very condensed too, additionally having to chew it well - which adds enzymes - salads come with earth-based probiotics for free.

I would add an as much as wide rainbow-colored assortment of all kind of vegetables every day, at least blueberries and half an apple for fruits, eggs and small fish for protein, a bid of extra vergin olive, coconut oil and ghee. Lots of spices.

Then supplement with magnesium, vitamin D3 (according to blood levels), vitamin K2, fish oil, a good multi vitamin/mineral with only little or no iron, copper, manganese or too much beta-carotene, a vitamin B complex (without folic acid), extra vitamin C, extra preformed vitamin A, mixed tocopherols and tocotrienols as supplementation. To be extended for certain conditions.

What are the consequences you experience?

Here's the secret ingredient of my Paleoish Diet - eat one whole coconut a day. I've been doing this for 5 years and I look feel great.

No shortcuts here, if you want to eat properly you have to do so, no magic bullets.

Eat your veggies and animal protein of your choice, don't be afraid of fats like olive oil or butter, leave alone supplements since you don't need them (at least at this stage).

Avoid gluten since you are intolerant, go for rice (maybe long grain like basmati or jasmine) or/and sweet potatoes for carbs.

Leave alone fancy exotic foods since we already have our share of healthy foods available, choose organic when you can.
