Hi everyone,

I bought a resveratrol product which states the ingredients are, "250 milligrams of elemental Trans-Resveratrol from 500 mg's of polygonum cuspidatum 50% standardized extract".

The only problem is the powder is white. Shouldn't the colour of 50% resveratrol be brown?

Like these pills: https://images-na.ss...0L._SL1339_.jpg

Many thanks everyone

I contacted them and this is the reply I received

"Hi John, well spotted !

The reason for the color change is this particular batch was taken from a higher grade resveratrol which was 99% purity it has been refined down to give you exactly the same potency as the ingredients displayed but the powder is white
You should see a change when we manufacture our next batch back to brown . "

I don’t think one should be taking any less than 99% purity of trans-resveratrol. Are the prices that significantly cheaper?
