Hello,

I have akathisia, which probably means there is an overweight of acetylcholine compared to dopamine in the nigro-striatal area. (Very similar to Parkinson's, in a way.) Therefore I wonder if there is anything I could use to deplete acetylcholine, perhaps specifically in that area, in the safest way possible. I bet there are some experimental, highly expensive medications, but maybe there are also some natural basics to try.

I take a nootrpic drug called piracetam. It depletes choline in the brain and will cause headaches if you don't supplement with choline while using it. There is s lot of research available for piracetam on the net.

Yep piracetam is the standard nootropic for reducing ACH.

I assume you're not looking for anything more than ACH reduction, so start with a small dose (800mg) and see how you go.

Piracetam is widely regarded as very safe especially in low doses and should get you where you want to go.

Easily obtained from a variety of nootropics shops.
