Hello everyone.

I am 24 yo male. I suffer mainly from anxiety and mild to severe depression, which highly depends on the level of anxiety which get much worse under stress. I have also Borderline Personality Disorder diagnose after 6 months of behavioral therapy. Without stress I am very functional, but now I am in constant anxiety with base about 3/10 severity. Symptoms indicate that I have the most common in with COMT poliphormisms symptoms. Here is my methylation status based on 23andme RAW data. I read somewhere that its not reliable source, because a lot more of mutations have impact on health etc, but still these mutations for example COMT had been most researched. So I am asking what can I do about this? Have you got better with some methylation protocols?

I've been on SSRI (paroxetine) 20mg for 5 years now. I had good reaction to it but it looks like it poped out. I had extremely adverse reaction to B-Complex which caused anxiety through the roof and insomnia so severy that I couldnt sleep at all. The same but less severe with VIT B6 alone, which caused mainly insomnia and a bit of anxiety. I felt better on probiotic with ashwangandha.

Methylation in attachment.

I would be very grateful for any help and recommendation!

Regards, Karol

Since your COMT v158M is AA, then you break down Dopamine 3-4x slower than the GG variation.

You don't have the MTHFR C677T mutation either.

So this most likely means your anxiety could be caused by too much Dopamine/Norepinephrine.
