So, I just bought 3 bottles of Life Extension NR, this is my first time trying this.

According to the studies, it seems 300 mg/day would be enough to raise blood levels of NAD to an extent. But I read somewhere that if you take less than a certain amount (1000 mg?) it only gets to the liver and not other tissues. That you would have to overwhelm the liver to get a more widespread effect.

Where did I hear/read this? Is it correct?

How much do you people take?

There is an experience thread where the OP tried to gather this kind of info.  I linked to page 60, thinking later replies are more revelant.

Another thread here for cycling /dosages

See the Thorne product for possible cofactors, especially TMG to keep methylation working.

AlivebyNature has a  liposomal NR in the works to help avoid the liver issue, taken sublingual.

Some experiences with liposomal NAD+ in this thread

Most people take 300mg. 600mg can help people losing weight. One can cycle between 300mg and 600mg. May need to add B12 for high doses.
