I am wondering why there is almost no source about S.C or I.V. injection of NMN?

Almost all the promising studies are done with injection (IP) on animals.

Of course it easier to sell a product via oral intake, thats why David and others want to make as much money as possible on oral pills.
I mean no regular dude wants to inject themselves. Thats understandable. But regarding NAD+ and NADH - the effect on chronic illness patients is much much more intense.

I am doing NADH and NAD+ s.c. with great success contrary to ZERO results from oral intake. Have been taking 1g of NMN for about 5 months as well without any noticeable difference.
Injections of NADH will make a HUGE difference about 30 minutes after injection already.
(Chronic illness patient here - so oral probably is not "enough" to help my mitochondrial dysfunction)

I am suffering from ME/CFS with low intracellular ATP and high lactate buildup on low Watt cycling.

That will require pure NR and NMN.

Injecting in the abdominal is the most painful, least painful are ass, thighs and arm

I suggest checking your NMN heavy metals prior to injection.

We test many manufacturer samples of NMN.

(Everyone wants to sell us cheap NMN for manufacturing).

I have to reject stuff all the time because of Arsenic and mercury levels.

Here is a sample a company sent us and we rejected, because of the Mercury we found:

Just be careful regarding injectables, that's all.

Wouldn't it be better to make some sort of slow-time release NR/NMN in pill form that slowly digest and releases into the gut so the effects last all day because the half life is limited to few hours.

Isn't that what Liposomal delivery does?  Well, except it bypasses the gut and releases slowly in the blood.

NMN is fully water soluble.

Liposomal (and Micelle) delivery is usually for materials that are not soluble like Resveratrol, Quercetin or Curcumin.

At this point, I consider it mostly a marketing ploy when companies say "X is in a liposome!" if X

is fully water soluble, unless the manufacturer wants to create a slow release product or has a specific formulation.

Don't get me wrong... if its a formulation of NMN + Res or Curcumin... or Quercetin which all need help in absorption

then yes, the liposome will likely help the absorption of the other non soluble ingredients.

Remember that the Slc12a8 gene in the small intestine is made specifically to absorb NMN from foods, and will immediately

absorb pure NMN naturally and faster than anything else, except say an IV.

It's possible covering NMN in some liposome or micelle may slow down absorption by the Slc12a8 in the small intestine IMHO.

So if it's a slow release product, that might be ok for you.

Personally, I don't make slow release products.

We like to do fast release products and spike the blood before things get metabolized.

Just my two cents
