After too many years of sitting I got a standing desk set up - been using it for about a week and find it exhausting!
My knees and lower back are sore.
My feet are sore.
Oddly my hands get clammy which is annoying.

The first few days were the toughest but I was hoping that I would have adapted by now. I'm a (not fat) quite healthy guy and tend to adapt to things quickly...
As I'm standing I move around a little; shifting the weight, bending and straightening my knees.
I take breaks and will sit down for like 10 minutes every hour.
I switched from slippers to wearing rubber soled sandals which helped with feet soreness.
I'd like to be able to stand all day with no problem, is it just a matter of time?

Who else does the standing desk thing?
I'm wondering what mobility and posture hacks I might want to implement to avoid soreness?

I've been shining my red light on my lower back which helps with soreness there.

Thanks!
