I have been experimenting lately with nootropics and so far have had mixed results. I have been using Piracetam and Hydergine with a Choline supplement.
I have stopped the Hydergine because I literally can't concentrate on the material when studying. I clearly have more motivation and brain energy, and it certainly "wakes me up" but my mind is too racy for absorbing information.
My question is why, LifeMirage, do you recommend the things you do for studying? I noticed you recommended Galantamine for "studying the info" and Pyritinol for "processing the info." Could you be more specific on why you recommend these? Could you be more specific on what you mean by "processing the info?"
Also, I noticed you do not take Galantamine yourself. Why? Why would you recommend it then?
Also, what would be some good dosages to start with. I'm looking into sticking with the Piracetam because I get good results, but would like to add some other stuff to the mix to give it a try, like: Idebenone, Pyritinol, Galantamine, Vinpocetine, and Ginkgo.
Just wondering what you would recommend of these and why. I have done a lot of research but many of these state that they do the same thing, so naturally I am confused. I need someone with real world experience I guess. I am looking for improvement in soaking up and understanding the very complicated knowledge that I am studying: advanced chemistry and biology. I need a clear, not racy, head on my shoulders. The Hydergine/Piracetam/Choline combo actually made me more stupid. Needless to say, I am usually very sensitive to drugs, so keep that in mind.
I am thinking of the following combo:
Idebenone
Piracetam
Galantamine
Pyritinol
Ginkgo
Any critique? Dosage recommendations? Schedule of when to take these?
Also, what would be the best combination/dosage for actual test taking?
Thanks much,
Chris
