Nothing recent on this one. Tried it, and perhaps placebo but noted the antimicrobial effects and seeming overall well-being. Thinking of adding some to a morning whey shake.

What’s the consensus here? Anyone use it and like it?

Ah, well... You "noted" that? Really...

 

Coconut oil is the most proinflammatory and proatherogenic fat you can consume. Period.

I eat it all the time, put it in my shakes, fruit-n-nut mixture, and in my coffee.

 

Most low-carb and paleo dieters use/consume a lot of coconut oil.

Coconut oil is the most proinflammatory and proatherogenic fat you can consume. Period. 

 

With a 80% walking-disability through a PAD and pre-diabetes I had to change my diet (low-fat vegan). Now I get almost 70% of calories from fats (cold pressed coconuts, other nuts, olive oil, avocado, ghee), the is prediabetes gone and walking-disability revoked again.
