Hello,

I thought about suggesting the following stack to my parents (who are both in their late 60s early 70s) for improving quality of life and possibly longevity.

Mum is 68 years old and suffers of fibromyalgia and arthritis and my father is 72 and has diabetes type 2 (both takes certain medications like aspirin and lyrica). Both eat quite healthy mediterranean died and local food, very little meat and lot of vegetables.

Stack for both (Few of these to take daily and others with breaks or just sometimes):

Niagen (Nicotinamide Riboside) 100mg

Melatonin 1mg

Alcar 500mg

Fish oil 500mg

Centrophenoxine (sometimes)

Pqq (pyrroloquinoline quinone) 100mg

Magnesium Malate

B vitamins

D vitamin

  • What do you guys think? would something like this be safe and possibly help?

  • Is this combination safe? I read somewhere that Niagen can also contribute negatively.

  • Is there any stack with most of these things already inside? I believe it would be easier to have a single pill or 2 to ingest a day instead of 10 different ones. Any company selling something like this or similar?

Thank you in advance and please feel free to criticise this list or suggest others :)

I would at least add Metformin and a few hundred mg NMN! I'm 74, biochemist. Folks on the NAD forum are reporting good results w/ over 500mg NMN and I am beginning to concur!

For arthritis in my hand, I have had luck with:

  • Boswellia serrata extract 1200 mg/day
  • MSM 4 g/day
  • Time release niacinamide 3 g/day
  • Olive leaf extract 1500 mg/day
  • Boron 6 mg/day

I’m 62

Try to lower the carb content. If they don't like to eat fatty meat, then maybe get more calories from olive oil and coconut oil.

As always, exercise works wonders.

Lower PQQ, 100mg is an extreme overkill. 5-10mg and maybe 20mg depending on bodyweight.

Also seeing as your mother has arthritis and fibro id suggest low intensity cardio. Once again LOW INTENSITY, just to promote bloodflow and artery relaxation and keep the immune system intact.
