Hello everyone!

I am a 29 year old male. I just placed an order with Dante Labs for a WGS, Whole Genome Sequncing test. I am very excited about this. However, they offered to give me a panel for any specific conditions I might wonder about, free of charge. Obviously this is a golden opportunity to investigate specific health question I might have, so I wanted to ask them to test for genes or conditions explaining my out-of-whack hormones. )And we don't have to talk about lifestyle changes with regards to hormones, as I have studied this extensively for the past years. Not made much progress, but still, let's save it for another thread)  :)

I don't remember all my numbers now, but here is an overview of my hormones:

I have LOW Testosterone - 300-ish
           LOW SHBG          -  20
High Prolactin (not tumor high, but a little over the high end of the normal range, so pretty high)
LOW Estradiol (below low end of normal range)

I also suffer from brain fog, some IBS, Insomnia (a big issue for me).

I've read there is some genes that can explain low SHBG. In the way that some people have genetically low SHBG and that is normal for them. Stuff like this would be interesting. Actually all input is very welcome!

Any suggestions what I could ask to add to my Genome Sequencing test would be highly appreciated!

Thanks to anyone to can take the time to reply!

You might ask to check the genes mentioned in the Hypogonadism page at https://www.malacard...m#related_genes

or any other medical disease that might be causing your low testosterone such as:

https://www.malacard...e#related_genes

For IBS

For Insomnia
