My 10.000lux lamp is helping a fair bit, however I still have 'start up' problems in the morning.

Something I have always noticed is that during the spring and summer when the first rays of light hit through the window I literally jump out of bed.

Now my mental problems are partially due to low cortisol in the morning (aspergers), this is due to improper hypothalmic signalling.

Would a wake up light help? Because despite my 10.000lux lamp does help me during day time functioning I feel as if its the initial jolt of early morning light thats all so important in regulating mood and motivation.

So those who have a wake up light, did you find it really helps? did it helps you maintain a normal circadian rhytm even in the winter?
