Considering starting coconut oil plus lactoferrin to boost immunity/kill off pathogens. My understanding is that low grade infections act as a persistent threat to longevity.

Any downsides? Would this work? I worry about lactoferrin and iron overload-should I be concerned?

I've dabbled with immune health boosting stacks, going so far as to take mediterranean wild oil of oregano and garlic extract with NAC and lactoferrin.  It didn't really do much for me.  Lately, I'm a bigger proponent of just eating less often and tossing in an occasional fast to improve immune / gut health. Taking things out seems to work better for me than adding things in.
