I have a very basic question, which I am getting very confused about

Injecting Hematopoietic Stem Cells appears to show some promise. Yes it is too early to declare it a success, but there is promise there.

Now, can we accomplish the same effect as injecting Hematopoietic Stem Cells by taking a GCSF Drug (Granulocyte-Colony Stimulating Factor Drugs, such as Filgrastim and Lenograsti).???

In theory we should be able to, no?

And just straight from Wikipedia:
"G-CSF administration has been shown to attenuate the telomere loss associated with chemotherapy.[15]"

not that this single comment alone means much in the way of longevity / life-extension, but worth noting anyway.
