I saw it mentioned in a another thread.  It's supposed to be an NRI.  I can't vouch for it myself, but if amantadine isn't enough to treat my adhd by itself It's next up my list to add to the stack.

Ba Yue Zha

CWF1986, I did some research(science direct), but i couldnt find anything that states that Ba Yue Zha(Akebia trifoliata) is a NRI or that it manipulates norepinephrine in any way. Although I did find its brother,Akebiae quinata has norepinephrine activity. Im gonna try it anyway and Ill let you know. Thanks for the info.

Ok, I see..

This study says it inhibits the reuptake of serotonin (5-HT), norepinephrine (NE) and dopamine (DA).

Interesting stuff...

That's the thread I first learned about it.

On that examine site, I read that it has NRI potency close to desipramine.  Desipramine is the AD most potent for NRI approved by the USA FDA.  Only Strattera is a more selective and potent NRI approved by the FDA.

I still have lots of questions about it and research is limited compared to pharmaceuticals but that's kinda always the case with supps and herbals :)
