Has anyone here used it? It's currently approved for treatment but may be useful in prevention. It showed a ~20% cure rate in a long term study.

I read the forum there, and, from what I understood, the people who took this vaccine have it (herpes, either I or II or both) pretty bad (like some describe that from the lip the lesions spread to half a cheek and even into the eye). The doctor's reminds them of the requirement to strengthen the immunity with immunomodulators, vitamins and probiotics before the vaccination, which consists of 5 injections a week apart, during remission, and then the same course is repeated in 6 months. Most people had it done at their dr. office, one or two just bought the vaccine and did it themselves.

Most people say that, at the very least, it shortened the outbreaks or made them less severe. Some continue it every year (once a year) and say that it made their life livable.

It appears to correspond to the statistics described on their main page.

So you didn't look at results of the 14 long year study? After 4 years of treatments the study reported complete remission in a 10 year followup in a certain number of patients.

I did not look at the study, I looked at their front page, which promises:

Reduces the frequency and duration of relapses of chronic herpes virus infection
Relapses completely stopped in 63% of patients

Reducing the number of relapses in 31% of patients

3 times increase in the relapse period compared with the control group

Reduces the duration of relapse in 32% of patients

And I read the forum which confirmed this. Where do you see the cure? Maybe for 63%. but happy people do not frequent such forums, only those with problems, so my impression had to be biased in this regard.
